Midwest BankCentre issued a check that indicated the check was payable at Midwest BankCentre. Upon arrival to cash the check, there was no one in the lobby but a lot of laughter and people having fun in a back room. I rang a bell and waited several minutes before being met by someone that looked like I was interrupting his day. I asked if I could cash the check their bank had issued to me and he asked for identification. I gave them my ID and then he said there would be a $2 fee to cash their own check at their bank. This is the worst customer service that I have seen at any bank. They owed me money and wanted to charge me money ($2) to get what was rightfully mine. I will never do business with Midwest Bankcentre every again and I recommend avoiding them unless you like paying to get your own money.
