  Brent Davidson, M.D., graduated from Lindbergh High School, completed an undergraduate degree at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Following an internship at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Saint Louis University.
• Cataracts
  In January of 2019, Dr. Shana Rose became active in a volunteer organization, named Friends of ASAPROSAR. This is a group of optometrists, ophthalmologists, OR nurses, anesthesiologists and lay volunteers who travel to El Salvador annually to provide eye care. The services provided by Friends of ASAPROSAR range from the fitting of glasses, routine eye health exams, diagnosis and treatment of eye disease to the more complex cataract and strabismus surgeries. These trips have been very enriching allowing her to treat eye disease to patients who would not otherwise have access to eye care.   It also demonstrated that, on some occasions, the lens could be sufficiently liquefied by the laser to allow it to be aspirated without the use of ultrasound.
