AboutPBC is a family-integrated church that meets in Fenton, Michigan. We encourage whole-family participation in worship, learning, and service. MissionOur main goal is to glorify God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, beginning at home within our families. DescriptionPilgrim is generally in agreement with the family-integrated church model as compared to the program-driven church model. Rest assured that we do not lift up family above all else. However, we do not minimize family to maximize ministry, either! Our main goal shared with every other Bible-believing New Testament church is to glorify God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our church has a commitment to Biblical truth. We desire to: Preach and teach the whole counsel of God (II Timothy 3:16). Bring up our children in the training and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Encourage and equip fathers to lead their families in paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3). Enable whole-family participation in worship, learning and service (Mark 10:13-14; Deut. 31:12; Matthew 28:19, 20). Have fellowship with Him and with one another (II Peter 3:11-13). Become ambassadors for Christ as we live and work in the world (II Corinthians 5:20). PBC also feels that many of the old hymns of the faith express a depth of theological teaching and a reverence for God that is missing in much of todays music. Our weekly teaching is done primarily by one man, other men from the congregation teach as desired. Our initial meetings were in homes and public meeting places in northern Oakland County. For the past six years, we've met in a rented church building in Fenton for worship space and proximity to our members. Additionally, we gather at the Fenton Community Center once a month for a church-wide potluck fellowship .
