My husband is a patient of Dr. Hart. Our marriage was in trouble and when my husband tried to talk to him about advice and ideas, Dr Hart just flat out told my husband to leave me after only talking to him for 5 minutes. Dr. Hart never heard the whole story and he never even asked to talk to me which I would gladly of accepted so he could hear my side of things before he would make up his mind to tell my husband to just up and leave me. We have been married for 48 years, so just up and walking out of the marriage isn't high on our list of how to resolve things. Dr. Hart shows no empathy or concern, just fast solutions. Now my husband is afraid to talk to him about it anymore and only goes to see him to get meds. How the medical board ever let him become a psychiatrist when he is so cold and distant from his patients. He has no problem pushing prescriptions, but when you really need help and understanding from your doctor about personal life situations, he is a failure and should have his license revoked because he acts like he doesn't really care.

I started to see Dr. Hart last year for severe anxiety. While he did prescribe some meds for me, the entirety of my appointments consisted of him coldly asking me questions while not establishing eye contact with me. I found him to be cold and lacking interpersonal skills. I also found him to be lacking empathy me. I would not recommend him to any friend. On my last visit, when I was in crisis, I brought my spouse with me for support. Dr. Hart was extremely rude to my spouse (almost closed the door in his face) and when my husband wanted to offer feedback about some of my sleep behavior, he cut my husband off mid-sentence and rudely stated that he only wanted to hear from me. I think he has a very poor bedside manner, lacking completely in empathy and interpersonal skills.

This doctor simply regurgitates memorized PDR med protocols. Not an accolade. He has a disdainful attitude toward his patients (customers) based on my experience of 3+ years. He has a personality disorder which makes him odd / unpleasant to visit. Perhaps this is a prerequisite for entering this medical speciality. Unfortunately, for the patient (fortunate for him) there's only one other psychiatrist in FedWay. It is worth noting that he's the only medical professional listed in the entire phone book who is Incorporated (to limit his personal liability).
