I purchased a stove and a refrigerator from the business. The stove works fine but the fridge never cooled. I called after about four days after purchase and a tech was sent out. The tech recharged the unit and it cooled fine for about 6 months. Now the appliance is doing the same and I called again. Now, with obviously a more experienced tech, he stated," I needed something replaced and charging the unit would only yield the same result for a short period." I then called the owner CJ and explained to him the situation. He rambles on about used appliances and how he could only give me half off the repair. I feel I should pay nothing for the repair as it was an obvious issue from the beginning. Then he rambles more about how he contracts outside for the techs. That is none of my concern. His business is responsible for my non working fridge. I had to spend Thanksgiving at my parents home not bringing any leftovers home, knowing I could not hold them and here it is December

"Very Affordable Used Appliances" is probably the shadiest business I have ever walked into. At first I just thought it was just a struggling small business, but after dealing with them I've realized that it is a flourishing scam. Here's how it goes: They promise you a long warranty with in-home service. You buy a a dryer or whatever from them, then when you install it, it doesn't work. You call for service, but they give you the run-around, ultimately refusing to send anyone to go. They make you bring the unit back, and you're without a dryer until they call you back when it's repaired. They don't. You call them, and they say "oh we cant fix it, so we'll give you another dryer." You pick it up. It doesn't work. Repeat. I went through this obnoxious cycle FOUR TIMES. FOUR FREAKING TIMES before I realized that they weren't going to help me. So I'm out several hundred dollars, and just bought another dryer at Lowe's. Don't make my mistake, if you love your sanity.
