Located in Fayetteville, N.C., the E.E. Smith High school offers classes from grades nine through 12. It consists of various departments, such as technical education, mathematics, media and technology, English, science, fine arts, social studies, guidance, world languages and health departments. The school also has a counseling and a media division. Additionally, the school has varied academics, athletics clubs and organizations. The E.E. Smith High school operates a Math and Science Academy that offers courses in geometry, probability and statistics, computer science, biotechnology, chemistry, meteorology, astronomy, zoology, discrete math, biology and environmental science. It utilizes resources from the Fayetteville State University and Fayetteville Technical Community College.
