The Adult Services Division provides a range of medical and health care solutions. The division offers monitoring and technical assistance solutions for adult care homes and other facilities. In addition, it provides case management services and administers an in-home aide program. The Adult Services Division offers emergency shelter assistance and individual and family counseling solutions. The division also administers a batterer s treatment program. It governs a transportation services section that arranges medical transit for children and adults to various destinations. The Adult Services Division provides long-term care solutions and distributes food stamps. It is a part of the Cumberland County Department of Social Services, which is governed by Cumberland County in North Carolina.
