Called in for a quote on repacking shafts. I was quoted a price and told to pick it up next day. Dropped the two axles. and the following day told that one axle was bad. (My mechanic had inspected the shaft and said it needed repacking and a new boot; the original one was still undamaged.) The new axle was painted a specific car color, AND the showed nut and bolt scratches indicating that it had been installed in a vehicle. When asked about it, another employee said that the axle was new and never installed in a vehicle, a factory match for my vehicle and that it was dusty for sitting in the shelf a long time. He became upset when I questioned "new" condition, but mentioned a warranty for 6 months. The refurb was $25 more than quoted, but I paid it. Two months later the new axle failed in NY. VW/USA said that it was wrong shaft. Called the shop and was told to drop by when I returned to NC. When I did, I was told the warranty had expired and even denied ever taking to me.

went in to get my core refunds i had one receipt for one part and my bank statement for the other part, i was refused the one with the bank statement. yes the parts were good and yes there is a sign up in the shop saying a receipt is needed,ut after spending over $200 in 2 weeks it seemed such a little thing for them to accept my bank statement as a receipt!! very very disappointed
