General Info

Dr. Shapiro graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He then attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a urology residency at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Shapiro practices general urology with a particular interest in the minimally invasive management of stone disease, male and female voiding dysfunction, and treatment of enlarged prostate (BPH). He has received Center of Excellence designations for GreenLight Laser Therapy and the UroLift System.
