The City of Fayetteville is home to more than 13,000 residents. The city operates by various departments, such as finance and administration, downtown development, planning and zoning, public safety and public services. The public services department is responsible for the major utilities and infrastructure of the city, including public works, water, sewer and stormwater, building and code enforcement, engineering, and solid waste and transportation. The finance and administration department looks after all financial functions, including budgeting, accounting, auditing, customer service, receptionist and related administrative duties. The downtown development department is responsible for administering the city's main street program and operating The Villages amphitheater. The city is located in Fayetteville, Ga.
