      Vasey came out and in 2 minutes estimated $1200-$1400 to replace the compressor. Another company (Kerley) did the job for $750. 2 weeks later, I got a bill from Vasey for $85 for the estimate. What? I called Vasey and they claimed they don't give estimates. I don't know what else you call it when a guy looks at the a/c for a couple of minutes and estimates the cost to fix it. They claim as soon as they step in your driveway, the charge is $85 for a service call. They guy performed no service! They never told me beforehand or while they were there that there would be an $85 charge. Kerley didn't tack on an extra charge to step in my driveway. Just a very poor way to treat potential customers but maybe they don't need customers.
