Pets may not show the same symptoms of pain as people do; they usually don't whine or cry, but you can be sure they feel it. Pain medications needed will depend on the surgery performed. - Veterinary SurgerySurgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We utilize the Cutting Edge â„¢ surgical laser in most of our surgical procedures. This promotes less pain, faster healing time and less trauma.
- Spaying and NeuteringSpaying or neutering can be done at approximately 4 to 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.
- Laboratory ServicesWe offer numerous preanesthetic tests. Your surgeon will recommend the right tests for your pet. For geriatric or ill pets, additional blood tests, electrocardiograms, or x-rays may be required before surgery as well.

- GroomingMonica has always had a love for animals. Growing up in Taylor, she first started cleaning kennels and training at a boarding facility. She began her grooming career in 1993 after graduating high school and cosmetology school. Monica has been working very hard to to become certified as a master dog groomer through NDGA, and a master cat groomer through NCGA. Monica takes great pride in her work and strives for high quality and low stress pet grooming. She stays updated on the latest trends, equipment, and products by attending trade shows and seminars. Monica and her husband have 5 dogs, 4 of which were rescues, as well as 3 rescue cats. They fostered and adopted labs for several years. Monica enjoys camping, ATV rides, paddle boarding, and trips to Wendover, usually with all of the dogs.
- Small Animal VetChancey grew up in Plain City, Utah. She has been an animal lover her whole life and has quite the collection of animals, including; ducks, chickens, cows, and horses. She owns four cows (D.J., Lil Red, Mazie, and Lissie B.), two cats (Gerry and Socks), and two dogs (Duke and Rusty). She loves helping youth with their 4-H and FFA projects. Chancey was raised around horses and cattle, and her dream is to one day become a large and small animal veterinarian, and has a special interest in surgery.
