What is assisted living? Assisted living is a long-term care option that combines housing, supportive services, personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), and health care in a residential setting. Assisted Living facilities in New Mexico are licensed by the state Department of Health. Seniors who choose assisted living receive assistance tailored to their needs, and benefits that enrich their lives and promote dignity, independence, and well-being. Our philosophy: Namaste, (Na-ma-STAY), an ancient Sanskrit word of respectful greeting, translates into English to mean, "The Spark of the Divine in me recognizes and honors the Spark of the Divine in you." Namaste, therefore, perfectly sets the tone and intention for our assisted living home. While under our care or on our premises, every resident, family member, staff member and community visitor are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Residents are encouraged and supported in maintaining maximum independence and choice as they are assisted by house staff in the activities of daily living.

My mother lived with us until we could no longer give her the care she needed. I looked at several assisted living facilities, and found that none compared to Namaste House. The residence is like a home. It's light with a wonderful view from the community dining and living rooms and from outdoor patios. The care was very personal, loving, and compassionate. Mom was very comfortable and content there until the end of her life. I would recommend it to anyone looking for assisted living care for a loved one.
I spent many years helping my mom to live independently in her own home. When the time came that she needed help for daily living activities I went looking all over town to see what was available. I found Namaste House. It is peaceful, clean, feels like a home with community dining and living areas, private bedrooms and a beautiful atmosphere. My mom lived the rest of her days beautifully cared for physically,mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You could not find a more loving place for end of life care.
