Automated Control Systems, Inc was founded in 1981 and in a relatively short time became a leading designer and manufacturer of electrical control systems for material handling, process and the machine tool industries. Because of the expertise A.C.S. demonstrated on several large control projects, Allen-Bradley awarded us the "Systems Integrator" status in 1990. In the past few years, A.C.S. has completed several "Turn Key" projects including an automated storage and retrieval system for Bloomington Seating Company, a J.I.T. supplier to Diamond Star. A.C.S. has also completed a material handling application for blending tea for Lipton Tea Company, a material handling and process system for ceramic logs (catalytic converter inserts) for Corning Glass Works Company, a leaf spring test stand for Ford Motor Company, and several control systems for carbide furnaces. In 1993 we acquired a 70 by 50 inch Techno-Isel computerized engraving table. This engraver allows us to engrave just about anything that can be drawn in AutoCAD .
