Dr. O'Neill has been very good with a kitten I got through the Prairie Grove Pound. She was spayed there recently, and bounced back faster than any cat I've ever seen. She is very wiggly and he has no trouble with that, either. I am also impressed that he does such modern, state-of-the-art treatments for other things. I went to him because the Prairie Grove Pound has an arrangement with him, but I am considering at least keeping him as a back-up vet; he is well-informed and very easy to talk with, and his office, while being possibly farther to drive, takes a shorter amount of time to get there, from where I live in Fayetteville.

Spent alot of time with our Great Dane Sassy and her puppies. He was so good to her ! He checked her and the puppies from end to end and made sure everything looked good ! Cant say enough and advise? He has TONS of wonderful advise and so do his assistants. Love the atmosphere. Thanks again !

My 17 week year old puppy was spayed at this vet who was chosen by the rescue I got her from. Not being an experienced pet owner I didn't ask many questions and wasn't concerned that we weren't using my chosen Vet. I had one other female dog. Her incision looks terrible and she had a large lump which my vet said was most likely due to the type of 'old school' suture used. The Dr. never met with me I never even saw him. I was sent home with no paperwork and was not given any information about how to care for her - what she should and shouldn't do and also what I should watch for. I asked questions but I'm not a Vet - I'm the owner - I should be told that's the whole point. I feel that b/c this was a reduce dog (even though is was a pure breed rescue puppy) that she was not treated well as if they didn't care about her at all. I would NEVER use this vet again. I would have preferred to pay for it myself had I known it would have gone this route. I have taken her back to my vet twice.
Doc is just the best when it comes to caring for all my critters. The name may be "Country Veterinary", but there is nothing backwoods about the services. He is the only one in the area providing stem cell and platelet rich plasma therapy. He's kept my aging horses healthy and happily munching with his equine dentistry skills.
