The Fargo Engineering Department is a part of the city of Fargo, N.D. It designs, inspections and constructs various infrastructure projects. The department maintains engineering, storm sewer utilities and traffic engineering divisions. Its engineering division oversees capital improvement projects, maintains infrastructure records, and reviews new and future project plans. The Fargo Engineering Department is responsible for reconstruction and rehabilitation of municipal infrastructure. Its storm sewer utilities division is responsible for planning and implementing storm water drainage projects. The division oversees maintenance of the existing storm sewer system.
