Currently owned and operated by Dr. David Frantz, the hospital was founded by University of Pennsylvania graduate Dr. Willam Cline, after World War II. While the ownership of the hospital has changed since then, Fanwood Animal Hospital’s commitment to the health and well-being of your pet has not wavered.

iWonderful, caring place I love Fanwood animal hospital -- I take my dogs and cats there, and they are always great. The staff is friendly, and Dr. Frantz is an excellent vet. He truly cares about animals, has a wonderful way with them, and provides top-notch care. And he is sensitive to expense issues, unlike some places. I highly recommend this place. MollyMoo

The Fanwood Animal Hospital is a great place to bring your pet when they are ill, or just to get check ups or shots. The staff are very friendly people to deal with, and you will feel very comfortable that your pet is in good hands and being well taken care of! Nicole A.

My cat had some sort of infection in which her mouth was brown and smelled. Besides that the cat drooled a lot. The vet was able to come up with the fact that the cat just needed its teeth cleaned frequently and that it should eat a different set of foods. The cat is doing better now, but still drools.They really are good with cats

Years ago my Husky was hit by a car and was taken to a local vet. The vet told me we had to amputate his leg. I wanted a second opinion so I took him to Fanwood Animal Hospital. When I spoke to Dr. Gordon he was willing to try an idea I had using natural supplements. In the end we did not have to amputate his leg. Thanks Dr. Gordon! I have been going there ever since. 4 cats and 5 dogs later, 25 years! Caryn A.

Top notch care! Educated professionals with a beautiful bedside manner!! Girls (and boys) in the office are lovely, compassionate, sweet people that know how much an animal can mean to a person. Thank you to all of the staff and doctors for providing Bella with wonderful care! I am forever grateful! After trying a few vets in the area I listened to friends,and tried Fanwood, I initially used Dr Gordon, who was extremely professional and intelligent.When Dr Gordon, was injured I switched to Dr Duddy,her compassion and search for solutions are unmeasurable. She does not give up till she has solved the problem or there is nothing left .The staff , they take after their Dr D. I've moved from the area,and have not found another animal hospital like Fanwood. I hope that the hospital is able to stay and continue to provide superior service to the animals of the area
