I really like Vantage Fitness. My wife and I have been members now for over four years. Friendly staff, great trainers and equipment, good location in downtown Falls Church. However, parking in the building parking lot can be a bit challenging unless you get there early in the morning before 7 AM or after 9 AM. VF also has a great steam room, massages available upon scheduling and a physical therapist on staff.

Don't sign a contract with Vantage Fitness if you think you might ever want to leave. When I decided to cancel my membership after finishing my one year obligation, I called several times, but was told that the person I needed to talk to wasn't available. Finally (the following month) I received an email stating that I needed to fill out a special form or send a certified letter, and then wait 30 days "for processing." Naturally, charges would continue to accrue during this time. Since I had already paid for the month following my original call, I cancelled the credit card and contacted the Better Business Bureau. Vantage is still trying to pry additional charges and late fees out of me. Good luck with that.
