I have been going to Spak's for almost 35 years. Ed found the cause of a car problem I was having way back then that no other garage had been able to figure out for 2 YEARS!!......... They had me "sold" when they wouldn't give up until they found the problem. I have stuck with them ever since. I won't go anywhere else!!

My hellish journey begins 8 months ago when I dropped my car off for a some work (wheel bearing front suspension axle boots an rear brakes) to spaks automotive. We agreed that we'd use all aftermarket parts aside from the front suspension I would keep that from bmw for resale value. We never came up with an exact figure but I was clear I wanted to try an keep it down knowing full well owning a 89 bmw 325ix it does get pricey sometimes. To keep this somewhat short 8 months an not a single call from him (I had to call repeatedly to find out what was going on and every time I was told we where waiting for a part it'll be here tomorrow then it'll be done.. either heard this 4-5 times.) Go by when finally I get the call my cars done. He proceeds to tell me how hard the parts where to find and how hard it was to work on the car ( there's a huge following on these cars now so manufacturers are producing there oem parts left and right for a fraction the price) and how he had to order EVERYTHING from bmw.. from the springs to the nuts. After that he tells me the totals 2967$. Now remember never once did I get a phone call to tell me the price was going this high. If you think it's over there your wrong. Try as I might he won't adjust price at all. 3000 later an I'm picking my car up. So I get in the car and it's night time I start it up pull out of the parking lot and make it 1/4 mile before both right side tires go completely flat An come off the rim. I pull the e brake and the button you push down to engage it is pushed right threw the handle. When I go to open my hood my handles broken it no longer opens up. Needless to say if your considering going here Do yourself a favor an keep on looking. You'll thank me later.
