Joseph J. DeVenuto Jr., MD graduated Magna Cum Laude from La Salle University in Philadelphia and obtained his Doctorate in Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine. He was completely trained at Wills Eye Hospital where he completed his residency in ophthalmology. In addition, he continued training at Wills Eye Hospital in a retinal fellowship which enables him to properly treat diseases and surgery of the retina. The Doctor knows that your vision is a precious gift and he will help you maximize your vision potential.

I am writing for my 76 year old mother who has been a patient of Dr. DeVenuto's for over 20 years. She has developed macular degeneration which Dr. DeVenuto is now treating. Her vision is stabilizing and she is thrilled. If you have a relative suffering with macular degeneration highly recommend you make an appointment with Dr. DeVenuto. Carol

My son, age 11, scratched his eye during gym class, I took him to Dr. DeVenuto. We were treated so kindly by the staff and Dr. DeVenuto. My son was so comfortable and was able to cooperate during the exam. I would give Dr DeVenuto and his staff a 10!

If you are in need of cataract surgery then you need to see Dr. DeVenuto. He operated on both my eyes and I cannot be happier with my vision. Colors are brighter and everything is so clear without my glasses.

Dr DeVenuto is a very caring and knowledgeable physician. I was very surprised that with his busy schedule he made me feel as if I was the only one he had to examine. I recommend him highly.
