Ecumenical Ministries is a faith-based, human service organization that offers a range of affordable housing, community development and direct services for the residents of Baldwin County, Ala. It provides various emergency aid, home repair, Christmas celebration and prescription assistance services. The organization administers the Baldwin County Home Ownership and Property Enhancement Program, which includes financial literacy and prepurchase education, and delinquency and predatory lending counseling services. Ecumenical Ministries maintains a food pantry that offers meals for children and families. Additionally, it conducts the Mutual Self-Help Home Building Program, which features homeownership assistance and learning for working families.
