Founded in 1948, Washington Radiology Associates is a medical group that specializes in the diagnosis of medical conditions, diseases and injuries through mammography, general and obstetrical ultrasound, general and gastrointestinal radiography, nuclear medicine, CT scan, magnetic resonance imaging, biopsy, fluoroscopy, X-ray and positron emission tomography. Its more than 200 physicians are specialists in diagnostic radiology and ultrasound. The group s radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology. Washington Radiology Associates maintains facilities in Bethesda and Chevy Chase, Md.; Washington, D.C.; and Sterling and Fairfax, Va.
