Greenbriar East Elementary School provides academic classes to students in kindergarten through grade six. The school offers a range of academic subjects, such as reading, writing, English, math, science, social studies, spelling and vocabulary, music, and health and physical education. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various programs for students, parents and teachers. It operates a library that provides various resources, including electronic, print and other materials. In addition, the school offers Title I program.
