Prairie Central High School offers a wide range of educational, extracurricular and recreational programs to more than 700 students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science and social studies. It also provides various extracurricular activities, such as fine arts, music, physical and health education, athletics, and sports. The facilities provided by the school include transportation, media center, playgrounds and cafeteria. It also has special education, guidance and counseling departments. The elective courses offered by the school include agriculture, business and consumer science, health education, and industrial technology. Prairie Central High School, located in Fairbury, Ill., is part of Prairie Central School District.
