Dog Sledding Tours and Adventures in Fairbanks, Alaska, with Iditarod Veteran, Jeff Deeter. Specializing in affordable, educational and personalized mushing experiences to fit each individual visitor. With its approx 2,000 foot elevation, guest mushers also enjoy spectacular views of the White Mountains Recreation Area and Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights. Tours begin at 1-2 hours in length, and can be extended to span multiple days, weeks or months! It's up to you. Experiences lasting for three or more hours allow guests to drive their own team of four to six dogs, and if interested, to provide care for their team at the end of the day. Visitors are encouraged to spend multiple days with Black Spruce Dog Sledding for the optimal educational experience, and to build relationships with their assigned team of dogs.
