I ended up going with KJB Fireplaces in Ramsey and they were lovely to deal with.

Our house is older and neither plumb nor square. Yet, John, from Light My Fire in Paramus, NJ managed to install a beautiful marble hearth and fireplace surround to within millimeters of perfection! He works neatly and cleans up after his work is done. The gas insert we purchased from Light My Fire works perfectly. John removed our old, improperly installed gas log fireplace and took it away! John, Melissa and Frank are patient, accommodating, knowledgeable and professional. They answered all of our questions and kept us informed making the entire process easy.
