Don's shop is amazing. The thought, detail & craftwork put into the development of this friendly shop are unparalleled. Don & Renee so fun to visit with, & they do exceptional work. This is an old school barber shop in more than just its rustic look, built w/ barn wood; Straight razor trim around the ears & neck, w/ warm shave cream & hot towels. They really care about their clients, & embrace their craft as art. There are a few modem touches like a HDTV, & overhead XM music. I have seen the Little Rascals & the Discovery Channel's Planet Earth on a couple of my visits. It was cool during Planet Earth as the music was in total sync with the muted video. The music is usually "The Bridge" on XM (60"s & 70's Mellow Rock). Don & Renee share some of the greatest stories. I have always been more than pleased when I leave the shop. It is like a family atmosphere. I have seen little kids scared to get their haircut, get in the very cool refurbished vintage chairs, & start smiling in minutes!
