Dr. Wong represents everything that is still wrong with women's health care. He admittedly still engages in the practice of advising women that having a baby is treatment for endometriosis without ever asking if having a child is something the woman wants. Why? Because Dr. Wong, like many male OBGYNs, went into this field because he likes babies, not because he cares about women. In fact, he is currently refusing me after care for my total hysterectomy on the basis that I am "not female" anymore and therefore not his problem. Unfortunately my surgeon retired leaving me with Dr. Wrong as my only hope for relief from endometriosis scar tissue adhesions. His stance is that either I am imagining my pain (which is what doctors told me for years before I finally got a diagnosis) or, if I am truly in pain, it's not his problem because my endometriosis is "cured." There is no cure for endometriosis, and the only way to know whether my pain is from scar tissue and adhesions is to do a laparoscopic surgery and look. Yet he asserts with certainty that it can't be endometriosis related, even after I underwent a number of painful procedures to rule out other potential causes. The bottom line with Dr. Wong is that I can't have babies so I no longer matter. Someday I hope that future generations will look back on this time in medical history and be grateful that they no longer have to endure the systemic misogyny of male OBGYN's at Catholic hospitals that value women only to the degree that they reproduce.

Dr. Michael Wong is intelligent, experienced and genuinely cares and wants whats best for his patients. I would reccomend Dr. Wong if you want a physician who has his patients' best interest at heart.

lichen scherosis-Dr. Albrecht did biopsies on me was very thorough, and knowledgeable about a somewhat embarrassing condition. She has a great bedside manner and answers questions honestly. Her medical assistant is also very good and caring. I would highly recommend her to any of my colleagues or friends who need an ob/gyn. I heard McGill puts out good doctors and Dr. Albrecht is wonderful example. I appreciate a great doctor.
