The phone call set up makes it almost impossible to know how to reach a real person at the information desk. It took two phone calls and crossed fingers to get hold of someone. You do not initially get an option to speak to someone at the information desk---just don't punch a number and hope for the best . . . and in this case, someone answered. I love Fred Meyers, but never want to need to call them again! LOL ------------Now, I'm editing the review and changing it from a 1 star to a 4 star, since a person can only leave one review. So---when someone did answer, their customer service was outstanding!!!! -----------The only thing that stops me from give Fred Meyer a 5 star is that people out on the floor are hard to find, especially in the garden department-----which is fabulous and should have people in the area knowledgeable at least minimally knowledgeable about plants---- a lot of novice master gardeners out there to hire for the season!!!!!

These people are all the BEST! You will always be received with a friendly smile and the finest service possible. If the coffee is too weak or whatever......... NO problem! They'll fix everything just the way you like it, no questions asked.

Do not use their Optical. An exam was $75, only they put $70 on the receipt. Frames are over prices, lenses are $40 per eye.
