Michael, Words truly can't explain how greatful we are for all you have done. K and C have done suprisingly well during our initial transition. Everyday gets better. Thank you so much for putting my children first and for all you have given of your time, your energy and yourself. I would highly recommend the services of Michael Schoonover if you ever need a Guardian Ad litem. His experience, insights, and thorough methods of investigation made our experience with Snohomish County Family Court much more pleasant than others have experienced. Michael put my children first and saw through the allegations and cross-allegations to get to the root causes, He offered well thought out recommendations that both parents were able to agree upon. We were able to reach agreements that we both believe are truly in the best interests of our children and have been able to find peace after a very tumultuos time in ours and our children's lives. His fees were very affordable.
Mike Schoonover is a man of principle and he stands by his word. A former police detective, he has gone out of his way to be fair and investigate all sides of an issue before making judgments or recommendations. Compared to other guardian ad litems, his work is often more thorough, done on time, and a better value. He is affordable for the average client, which is especially critical given the high costs of litigation in a contested case. I have no reservations about referring my clients to him, and will continue to do so.
