The Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center specializes in career and technical education, workforce development and training and general education programs. It also offers vocational business and marketing, agribusiness, health career, work study, and family and consumer science courses, as well as a variety of trade and industry programs. The center offers an adult basic education program to assist adults in improving their basic educational and living skills. The program provides job information and consumer education, as well as assistance in improving proficiency in reading and math skills. The Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center additionally offers the English as a Second Language program for non-native students. In addition, it supports several cocurricular organizations that include the Business Professionals of America (BPA) and Future Farmers of America (FFA). The center is located in Evansville, Ind., and is a part of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.
