Founded in 1909, Mental Health America of Vanderburgh County is a nonprofit organization that operates programs on various mental health issues. Located in Evansville, Ind., it offers services to promote the mental health of individuals through education, volunteerism and advocacy. Mental Health America of Vanderburgh County is a group of volunteers and professionals who runs various programs to increase public understanding and acceptance of persons with mental illnesses and develop mental health care service systems. It conducts seminars, sessions and meetings to offer supportive, therapeutic and educational learning experience to people with depression. Mental Health America of Vanderburgh County is affiliated with National Mental Health America.
