Based in Evanston, Wyo., Mountain Regional Services has been operational for more than 30 years. A nonprofit organization, it serves more than 5,000 people with developmental disabilities. The center is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. It offers a wide array of ancillary services, such as case management, psychological and psychiatric services, medication monitoring, skilled nursing facilities, physical, speech, language and occupational therapies, nutrition counseling, living support services, and training in communication, self advocacy, financial management and decision making. The center also offers personal, social and community support services, placement opportunities, clinical assessments, supported and independent living solutions, child waiver services, follow-ups and referrals, and crisis intervention services.
