Overall my experience with Autobarn has been really great. Although the pricing for parts and services is at a premium, this is typical of dealerships, so no surprise there. What has really stood out to me is the willingness of the staff to go above and beyond to make sure that I'm taken care of. In particular, Myriam Mcready, the Nissan Serivice Manager, went out of her way to make sure that I got the repair I needed through my auto insurance. Without her diligence and integrity, I would have been in much worse shape and may have had to pay for something I was not responsible for. Truly outstanding service! Also, the technicians have been nothing but excellent in their work on my car. A++

When I went to Nissan to get my tire fixed I was helped by Alex Gallegos. He was very friendly and made sure that I knew exactly what they were going to do to fix my car. He even helped me save $150 on this last visit. I would not hesitate to return for service in the future.

If you are looking for a Nissan product look no further than Michael Lawless at The Autobarn Nissan of Evanston. I have been buying new and pre-owned vehicles for over 35 years, and I have not encountered anyone in the car business more courteous, honest, and professional than Michael. It was a true pleasure to work with him to find the vehicle we wanted at a fair price with a helpful, informative, and timely delivery process. For the first time in a long time I financed through the OEM's finance company, and Michael was instrumental in illustrating the economic benefit of NMAC's 2.90% rate. I am not in the habit of writing consumer reviews, but this experience was extraordinary. Kudos to Michael and his team!

There aren't nearly enough Good things to say about the folks at Autobarn Nissan. It was among many places I went, when my wife was rear-ended on LSD, which totaled our 'reliable' car a week after my 'beater' broke down for what we thought would be the last time. I was shopping on a tight budget and with short time-frame in which to find what we needed and I was disheartened by the preponderance high-pressure and/or disinterested salespeople I ran into at all the other dealerships I visited. Then I met Bruce Wittmeyer at the Autobarn and we totally hit it off. Not only did he genuinely listen to me about my needs and the details of my situation but he responded with patience, honestly and a genuine sense of good service. When I started my shopping, I was worried I'd be lucky to just to end up with a car I didn't regret. But Bruce helped me get the car of my dreams: a LEAF! Whatever is the polar opposite of buyer's remorse... that is what I have. Go get a LEAF and thank me later.

I purchased a 2009 Nissan Frontier from Tom Brennan at Autobarn Nissan on 2/27/09. It was by far the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Tom's prompt and courteous response to my initial e-mail inquiry saved me lots of time prior to stopping into the dealership. We set up an appointment for me to visit the dealership and once there I found their laid back low pressure approach to sales and refreshing change from the norm. They gave me a fair price for my trade in and a great deal on my new truck. They did it all quickly and efficiently, and got me back on the road in short order.
