Todd Bailey received an engineering degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Since beginning his company in 2000, he has spent a great deal of time in continually improving the products and services that R.T. Bailey provides. Todd has attended multiple National Home Builders Association conferences, including the International Builders Show 6 of the past 7 years to get the latest on education and products being offered. Additionally, Todd attended the 2006 & 2007 NAHB Custom Builders Symposiums to further his business. Locally, Todd has been on the board of directors of both the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and the Sales and Marketing Council R.T. Bailey Construction is currently building in multiple neighborhoods in Columbia County has projects that will begin 2010 in North Augusta, SC and Aiken SC. Columbia county neighborhoods include: Connor Place townhomes- starting in the low $130, 000's. Sumter Landing in Evans has new homes starting from $249, 900, this is a waterfront community with pool and walking trails. Todd builds in Riverwood Plantation's Johnstone and Kenton communities. The homes in these neighborhoods start in the low $200, 000's. Chastain Place is located in Grovetown and has homes starting in the $170, 000's. In South Carolina, we are currently building in Aiken's South Park Commons and will be starting Powderhouse Landing in the spring of 2010. In an effort to maintain community standards and develop the entry price point, R.T. Bailey Construction and Raven Home Builders have partnered to create Winchester Home Builders, Inc Winchester Home Builders are the exclusive builder in Lancaster @ Canterbury Farms, a new planned community near Grovetown. With a long parkway, Canterbury Farms is designed to have small clusters of home sites of similar size and materials. The Lancaster neighborhood has houses on flat lots with woods behind 90% of the homes. The homes start at $159, 900. Lancaster is adjacent to the amenity site that will have a junior Olympic pool open for residents. Streetlights, sidewalks and nature trails make this community like none other in the Grovetown area. Winchester Home Builder's are also building out phase 2 of Berkley Hills, located off William Few Parkway in Evans. This neighborhood offers pool and playgrounds, while being convenient to schools and shopping. Homes start in the upper $180, 000's in Berkley Hills. Basements separate R.T. Bailey Construction from other builders in the area. We only use solid poured concrete walls on concrete footings. Water proofing is a sprayed on emulsion with a drain board to prevent leaking. Total Drain footing drains are used to move water away form the footings/foundation walls and are daylighted to the backyard. We currently have basements in Riverwood Plantation, Sumter Landing and Berkley Hills. For a few dollars more, this makes a great place for storage or future rooms. Todd always installs basement plumbing in the slab so future conversion to a usable space is that much easier.
