      Chrysalis is a 67-acre therapeutic boarding school where girls, ages 13 to 18, come to heal. Each student arrives at Chrysalis at a unique place in her journey, bringing with her both challenges and strengths. Chrysalis meets each troubled teen wherever she is on her path, helping her form a healthy sense of identity. We recognize that through a wealth of experience a girl can become more well-rounded, securing a better understanding of herself and how she fits in the world. Our goal is to teach her how to build safe and meaningful relationships, while not losing her authentic self in the process.Here are just some of what the girls at Chrysalis School are developing skills to cope with: * Mild to moderate learning disabilities, including ADHD, executive functioning weaknesses * Anxiety * Body image issues including disordered eating * Depression * Recovery from chemical dependency and abuse * Trauma and stress-related conditions
