Established in 1997, Direct Fuels is one of the largest, private, independent fuel distributors and specialty petroleum processers in northern Texas. The company supplies gasoline and diesel fuels in a variety of grades and blends. With annual revenues of more than $485 million, it supplies green fuel, including ethanol. Direct Fuels sells its fuel products to retailers and distributors that supply commercial accounts. It works with a team of over 50 employees. The company specializes in the production of biodiesel. Direct Fuels operates an on-site transmix fuel processing plant that recycles petroleum products. The company additionally has an ethanol terminal that has storage capacity for up to 110,000 barrels of ethanol. It is owned by Insight Equity, Najeti Ventures and Kayne Anderson Energy Development.
