By all means do not take your car to Trackside Auto in Eugene Oregon. Here is the honest to God truth about their service. I took my Volkswagen Golf to them for repair and they where good with timely service but when I picked up my car and drove it home it ran even worse so I took it back to them. They said they would fix the problem and get back to me when they found out what was wrong. Weeks went by and I never heard from them so I called and they needed a special instrument to read the Cam. More weeks went by and they never called so I called them and again and the instrument did not arrive. Finally the instrument arrived but again weeks went by but they never called so I called them and again and I got some lame excuse that they wore working on it and would let me now whats happening. Again weeks went by and they never called me. Than they said they where ordering another part to read some other part of the cam and they would call me when it would be fixed. Well weeks went by again and the never called. To make a long story short, its been over 6 month now and the car is still sitting there and they never called once to even apologize for what I have been going through. I have had to use one of my other cars that gets half the gas mileage so I have had to spend about $1000 in extra gas while they just do nothing. I told them that all my friends said just get reimbursed for the labor and take it to the dealership. I told them that and they said no we will fix it, but its been over 2 months since then and still the car sits. These people are the worse in Eugene, if you want a good mechanic go the Mora Auto they are cheap and honest. I will remove this review only when the car is fixed and I get some king of apology for the $1000 I have had to spend on gas because of them.
