Relief Nursery, located in Eugene, Ore., is a private, nonprofit agency that provides mental health, substance abuse, and prevention services to more than 1,000 children and families. It works with low-income families with children up to 6-years, who are at risk of child abuse and neglect. Relief Nursery provides respite care and crisis intervention, and a variety of services and programs with the development of specific goals for each family. Its programs include outreach connection, therapeutic early childhood program, healthy start, families together, accessing success, and ancillary services.
