As best I can tell, the people who continue to frequent this establishment are newbies would encounter BSS's ads for cheap oil changes in the Register Guard and decide to try them for auto repair. I have singularly never had a more dishonest, disreputable, and incompetent experience in having my truck repaired. My old ford pickup is the easiest vehicle to work on, and I do most of the work myself, but when I had them check out an engine miss, they diagnosed the carb. No problem, as it was still under warrantee from the replacement that I had done the year before. I told them I'd pop that off and bring the replacement back and what they would charge to put it back on (about a fifteen minute job on that vehicle). The guy on the phone said that it wouldn't be very much (the exact figure has left my mind), but it was very reasonable and I figured that I'd let them at it for that amount. The bill was four times the estimate, and... it wouldn't stay running. Incompetent. Avoid!
