We just moved our son out of this facility. If your son has difficulty comprehending his tasks, or they fear he is unable to use the stove, he won't be allowed to use it. Our son has disorganized type schizophrenia and directions and staying on tasks is very difficult for him. One staff member was continually putting him down and one resident who has anger issues, grabbed his chair at dinner and flipped him over on his back. We moved our son out the next day. This same staff member laughed and laughed at me, when I became upset about the behaviors he was having to deal with. She is applying for the director position, so beware.
