Susanna Gaikazian, MD is Board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology. She joined Florida Cancer Specialists in 2022, bringing more than ten years of experience treating a wide variety of solid tissue tumors, hematologic malignancies and benign hematologic disorders. Active in clinical research, her abstracts have been widely published and she is a frequent presenter at professional forums. Dr. Gaikazian received her medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University in Yerevan, Armenia. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, and participated in numerous medical education and practice improvement initiatives. Prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists, she provided oncology care in private practice with Cancer Care Associates in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Gaikazian is fluent in English, Armenian and Russian. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, music, art and fine dining, as well as outdoor activities, including gardening and boating.
