Pinewoods Elementary School provides curriculum that includes opportunities for the continuous intellectual, physical, moral and social growth of students. It serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in reading, math, science, social studies, music, art, technology education and media. Pinewoods Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher organization that is responsible for fundraising and events. The school administers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. It also administers gifted and talented education programs for students with special needs. Pinewoods Elementary School is governed by Lee County Public Schools, which additionally manages several elementary, middle and high schools.
