Essex Hannaford is the best Hannaford in VT customer service is always very good, just an always busy store be prepared to wait in line. But the wait is never more than a few minutes they do a great job of managing it. One issue is with the produce it varies from week to week but overall it is okay! Since its so busy there the shelves empty quite quickly. Last thing I would like to state is stay away from self scan, something always goes wrong and takes double the time it would have going through a cashier. A cashier has made my day a couple of times there so just go through the lines!

Very disappointed in the service and product that I paid for and didn't receive. The cashier and person that was bagging my groceries were very unprofessional. Young people talking about inappropriate things instead of paying attention to the paying customer. I work hard for my money, groceries are expensive and if I support your salary by shopping in your store, I at least expect to have my groceries when I get home and maybe a little courtesy with a thank you when I leave the store. Long story short: cashier and bagger were busy with personal conversation and did not put all my groceries in my shopping bags. :(
