Liliana Uribe-Bruce, MD, is a board-certified internist providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. She is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.{line break}UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.{line break}As a primary care physician, Dr. Uribe-Bruce provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries for adults. She is committed to empowering her patients through education and good communication. Dr. Uribe-Bruce has a practice emphasis on helping individuals manage type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders and other endocrine and metabolic conditions. {line break}She has had significant experience in diabetes-related clinical research.{line break}Dr. Uribe-Bruce earned her medical degree at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Faculty of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia. She completed her residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida and is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Uribe-Bruce went on to perform fellowship work in endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health.
