Kinesis North Dual Recovery Center, a part of Mental Health Systems, provides a variety of outpatient group and individual counseling services for people with addiction and mental illness. Its services are offered for approximately nine to twelve months followed by more than five months of after care. It offers substance abuse prevention and treatment services, as well as educational programs about mental disabilities. The center s after care services focus on relapse prevention techniques during the transition period of treatment. Kinesis North Dual Recovery Center is located in Escondido, Calif. Founded in 1978, Mental Health Systems provides mental health and drug and alcohol treatment rehabilitative services. It operates over 100 programs in nearly 100 locations in Southern and central California.
