The oldest course in the area features two distinct nines, a tree-lined mature front that opened in in 1915 and a wide-open back that opened in 1990 with water on seven holes. The 435-yard 18th is widely considered the toughest closing hole in the Upper Peninsula, with its elevated and undulating green. The par 71 course covers 5,974 yards from the white tees and 6,223 yards from the blue tees. An excellent test of golf also includes a clubhouse with food and bar, and excellent Friday fish-fry. A PGA professional is on staff.
