Penn Attorneys was organized and chartered in 1980 by a group of Erie County attorneys whose goal was to provide a reliable and lower-cost alternative to other title insurers. In 1982, Penn Attorneys started expanding service outside Erie County through our approved attorney system. This has resulted in continuous growth due primarily to our prompt and efficient service coupled with our low rates. Our approved attorneys ( now numbering over 1, 700 ) have come to depend on our support and service. Penn Attorneys issues policies only to Pennsylvania lawyers for their use in closing real estate transactions for both lenders and owners. There are no approval fees or minimum volume requirements.
