There are a variety of reasons why men may experience symptoms related to pelvic floor dysfunction, including falls, surgeries, prostate conditions and many others. We evaluate and determine the cause of the pelvic muscle dysfunction and whether it is related to muscles that are overactive, underactive or a combination of the two.At Hertel & Brown, we see our male patients preoperatively for radical prostatectomies and for any side effects that may occur after surgery. Our goal is to enhance surgical outcomes for our patients and assist them in overcoming urinary incontinence and any other symptoms they may experience after surgery.
