Very happy we hired Express Wood, they did an amazing job refinishing our floors. Not only the floor looks like new, but they also used a high quality scratch-resistent finish which withstands our two cats and a German Shepperd. I cannot say enough about these professionals !!! I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky to have found these artisans. After seeing the neighbor's floor that Alex & Ben had done, there was no doubt in my mind as to whom I would use. The previous owner of my home, had let their cat treat the house as it's litter box, ferrous nails were used in installation of the floor, which caused black spots everywhere, etc. It was a mess. I CANNOT believe the transformation. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I chose to have the stain, rather than the natural finish and the richness of the color is magnificent. I can't stop staring at the floors and I can't stop smiling, I am so happy. These gentlemen are professional, courteous, meticulous & honest ( which is a rarity these days). When it comes time to have the kitchen done, floors and cabinets, I will call them and them only, no doubt in my mind. Please look at their website before and after pictures.( I had the blond floors, which are now a rich walnut hue).

Ben, Alex and crew just refinished the pine floors and oak stair treads in our 100+ year old farmhouse, and they look fantastic! Ben told me before they started that pine can be both tricky and inconsistent, and they had to also contend with the effects of some previous DIY floor work, but they did an excellent job. I very highly recommend them - these guys are professionals and craftsmen in every sense of the words.

If you want beautiful work done in a timely manner this is the company to use. They refinished our hardwood floors throughout the house and also installed natural stone floors in our kitchen. Their attention to detail is fantastic. Highly recommend!

After we removed glue on tiles from the original wood floor in the dining room (a nightmare of a job-----who glues tile to a hardwood floor?), pulled up the carpet in the living room and replaced ceramic tile with new hardwood in the kitchen we called Ben and Alex to sand, stain and varnish the floors. What an amazing result! We couldn't be more pleased with the beautiful job they did. They were neat and clean and so nice too! We are enjoying our new look and are having fun showing it off! Very happy with the work of Ben and Alex. The condition of our floors was horrible...the previous homeowner's dogs had soiled the carpeting - the wood floors were badly stained. Express Wood Floor Refinishing just completed my kitchen, breakfast nook, 1/2 bath and entranceway floors. My home is a 1932 brick tudor and had linoleum from probably the early 60's installed from the previous owners. When I tore up the linoleum it was glued down by what looked to be tar...floors were black. These guys came in and did such a FANTASTIC job...they have matched them exactly to all of the other floors in the home. I am so pleased with their work I would recommend them to anyone.
